Waking up Early In the
Morning / Habits of successful people
I rise at 4:30am and as soon as people listen to
this, only in question comes to their mind, How can I also wake up this early?
I also want to get up early but whenever I try, the alarm keeps ringing, I
snooze it The alarm rings, I Snooze it, and every morning me and my alarm are
in a duet who will win, who will lose..
Waking up Early in the Morning |
But, if you want to get up early in the morning,
it's important to know two things, It is
easy to wake up in the morning difficult thing is going to bed on time because
your body needs those minimum six to eight hours. The older you are and the
older you get, your body will need more rest I know my body needs at least 7 to 8 hours of rest So if I want to get up at 4:30 in the morning. I have to sleep every night at 9:30pm.
This means that I will have to make some sacrifices
late night parties, Late night movie bingeing all that stuff is over because I
give more important to my sleep and rest secondly, and more importantly what is
the process to wake up early? Let's say you wake up at 8 am and you want to wake up at 6 am you'll probably wake up the first day, the second day as well
as the third day and the fourth day, your body will be screeching to you some
more time, some more time, back we used to get up at 8 am now we wake up to 6 am
which gives us 2 hours what if
instead of 2 hours we get 1 hour 45 min? Let's sleep for 15 more minutes because your body has received a shock treatment. It hasn't
even got the time to cover this journey from 8 am to 6 am. It was
literally thrown into a swimming pool with a push and told to learn to swim and
the body will naturally try to navigate to its default state So, if you wake up
at 8:00 am , set the alarm for the next day at 7:50 am instead of 6 am just 10 min less . The body won't even come to know or tell the
difference , But for the next 3 weeks,
rise every day at 7:50 am Set your
alarm at 7:50 and soon as the alarm
goes for, you are up and alert and in 3
weeks the body will used to it . It will come to know that now it has to
rise at 7:50 rather than 8 am.
Then make that 7:50 to 7:40 and 7:30 and so on next nine weeks
aka two months, you would have started waking up half an hour earlier. Then make those ten minutes to 20 min, instead of 7:30, wake up at 7:10,
instead of 7:10, wake up to 6:40 instead of 6:40, rise at 6:10 in
the next 9 month you would have
reached 6 am. Which means in about 6 months you would have reached getting
up from 8 am to 6 am.
The biggest lesson of this process is that
whenever you want to do lifelong, you have to put your body in the way that the
mind works the best because then it doesn't even think about what it has to do
It knows it already. If you want to get up early, you want to lose some weight,
or quit sugar, want to quit snacks or junk food. If you want to bring any thing as personal life improvement do not give shock therapy to your body put it in a habit. when the body is
able to adopt that habit successfully that is when the body won't even know
that it was initially in a bad habit and is introduced in a good habit now.
